This activity will help students with autism with "theory of mind" , or perspective taking. Individuals with ASD often have a hard time walking in somebody's else's shoes. This means that predicting and interpreting the emotional state of other people is often a challenge. These activities have photos of common scenarios - a boy spilled his legos, a boy and his mom are cooking together, and a group of kids is teasing a boy. To complete the activity, your student will follow the numbers in order while writing in their best answer. If the student struggles with writing, feel free to write the answers in for them. The last page is an example of what the completed sheet might look like.
