I am always interested in finding ways to help individuals with ASD express their opinions, especially outside of their focused interests. Today's free autism resource uses a visual system to help students express their views on pets - and how much they like them. Simply review the first page rubric with the students to explain that one star is dislike, two stars is "meh", and three stars is awesome. Then, have the student go through and circle or fill in the number of starts for each pet. After they master the skill, can you use this a social activity as well where a number of students fill out the sheets and then compare the answers as a group!
